Third Thursdays is a monthly neighborhood activation led by the businesses, artists, and residents around Grand River and Warren. Each month, independent retailers, creative spaces, food vendors, and cultural producers open their doors for an evening of art, music, food, and conversation, inviting visitors to experience the neighborhood after hours.

The first-ever U.S. edition of Pieces Chess Club arrives in Detroit after gatherings in Lisbon, London, Berlin, and other European cities. Guests can play chess throughout the evening while enjoying cocktails, books, magazines, and more. This inaugural U.S. gathering is presented as a benefit for Freedom House Detroit, supporting the organization's work with refugees, asylum seekers, and other displaced people.
James Adams Studio

FRAMEWORK is a traveling portrait studio by James Adams Studio, staged inside galleries and cultural spaces for a limited time. Visitors are invited to sit for a portrait by Detroit-based photographer and multidisciplinary artist James Adams. ARCHIVE by eugenie will have a rack of curated pieces on hand for participants to wear for their portrait, no purchase necessary.
